When we tried to add the account to managed users, we got the error "Cannot add new users. Please try again." in the Users & Groups tool.  The e-mail address that we want to add is formerly associated with a personal account, but he deleted his personal account in January 2024 in order not to affect registering to the business account. FYI, we tried the method proposed in the following thread (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/25740552529683-Email-already-used-in-a-Box-account-but-not-associated-with-an-enterprise ), but it did not resolve our problem. We would like to add his e-mail address to managed users as soon as possible.We would appreciate it if you could help us to solve this problem.

My coworker can't login as the text message for the 2FA is not being received. She can't change the method or log a new support post as she can't login to her account.

I have a personal box account(free). i have been using it for years. TOday I was added to an enterprise account. I have been locked out of all the files. I have been using to share files with clients. Now it appears they have been added as collaborators to the enterprise account. Potentially giving them access to another clients account. I cannot upload new personal files to my area. Please Help

I want to automate the sending of Sign requests using the API without the need to manually add placeholders for the signatures? I don't want each signer to be required to drag a signature field onto the document to sign it. The Docusign API allows you to add a 'tag' for the signer and the application automatically takes you to the place to sign when the signer opens it. They can then sign in the correct place just by clicking on it. We have hundreds of documents to send out. We do not want to have to manually place the signature field in the correct location on every document.

We have been using Metadata to capture "Name" and "File Type" when a client uploads their files using our file request link.For some reason, in the last 24 hours, this has stopped working. Though the fields are required on the upload form, the information is not saved to the files. We use a relay to use the metadata to rename the files for us, but since the metadata stopped applying, it is no longer renaming the files and we have a mess. The metadata fields are just coming through as "Missing" on the file renames.I already went through and checked all the forms, metadata, and relays, but still not working. Just a little stressed as we're about to receive a TON of files and I need names assigned. 

A second file shows up in parentheses. This isn't very clear and messing up my filing system. 

Hello I have personal pro account and free account. I'd like to use BOX Drive but I can only use one of them. I'd like to switch account and use them both through BOX Drive. If it's possible, could you let me know how to do it, please. Thanks in advance.

I cannot log in because of some problem preventing me from getting codes sent to my 2 factor authentication number. I'm not going to be able  to change that. Why is it SO HARD to get any help here?

When I try to copy a file to a Box folder I get the error message:"Can't read from the source file or disk."If I try the same thing to any folder other than a Box folder, it works fine.

Hi guys, I am brand new to Box so consider this a noob question. I have added a file on my Mac, which is showing up in Box under all files. When I use the vision pro app, however it is not available in any area logged in into the same account. Have I missed the step? Thank you!

Hi there,   there is a bug where I can't remove 2FA, it says it's removed and then reappears after refreshing. I try to remove and replace with Email or SMS and it says neither are valid. Very frustrating bug. 

I am having issues with receiving notification from my school district.  Also, this account was provided by my school district and it is asking for upgrades. Need support and help to resolve this issue.

Box for Salesforce is installed and the Box component is configured on the Salesforce Lightning page.The help below states that Salesforce permissions can control reference and editing, but I am able to create Box folders from Salesforce even if the object permissions in Salesforce are view only. Box for Salesforce - FAQ – Box Support What restrictions can an admin place around Salesforce content in Box? How can I prevent Box folders from being created?
