We have a directory on our website, hosted on a VPS with a major hosting services, that we need to transfer to box.com regularly.

At the server end we are thinking of developing a script that will run every X time and will essentially backup that directory to a directory in box.com. The transfer will be strictly one way, from web server to Box.com, not a sync job.

I don't know what is necessary at the box.com end of things. It seems box.com has FTP transfer (or SFTP) available, but I am not sure if a webserver>>>box transfer is even allowed and I would like to find out before I start writing a script at the web server end of things.
