I have a word document that I use Marcos for drop-down options to be selected but when I upload the file to box it opens in compatibility view and deactivates my drop-downs.

If I open the Box app on Android, then open an Excel document using office, I view and make changes. It says it is auto saving, (but it is not). I have to tried to select "save" to force it. but when I close and reopen the file either on my phone or box online, it did not save any of the changes. How can I make it save? If I open Office or Excell on my phone, there is no option to connect a Box storage location (just OneDrive and DropBox), So I cannot try opening the file there. How can I get it to show up and connect it so I can open files from there?Office on my phone is licensed using a work account, and I am an 'editor' on the Box files.

Hi, An external third-party organisation is attempting to share a document with is via Box. The organisation and the user have been able to do this previously on several occasions, I have checked and the user still has 'Editor' permissions on the folder in question, but I have also sent a public file request link to them as an alternative.They are still unable to upload the file or even an empty text file as a test.On the third parties side they get the following message:'Something went wrong with the upload. Please try again' Which they have to no avail. Please is someone able to assist with this?Many thanks

Hello, Is there a report I can run that will show what folders different groups have access to? I know I can run a User Report to show who is a member of specific groups, but I haven't figured out a way to show this other bit of useful info. Thanks!

I'm really tired of writing because of this problem. Enough, what a bad team they are, we have been dealing with the same problem for years. I'm really wondering if I should use another application or not. They say they have been working on this problem for years, but I absolutely do not believe it. They do it to raise you to a higher level. I don't think there is any other explanation for this situation. Or they should replace the entire software developer team if the team is this bad.

something wrong again with my storage quota, It shows full even when the total of folder sizes do not add up even close. and yes , I have cleared the trash etc. the usual stuff. I get this issue every few months. i was hoping it would get resolved. I think time to change from box for me now.

Hi,Our organisation is using boxsign, I have 1 user who does not have it enabled. - when viewing a document, the box sign icon is not visible in the vertical toolbar.All our other users see it.I was attempting to follow the relevant instructions below. but I do not have "BOX SIGN" available as an option in the top bar of enterprise settings. In the left sidebar of the Admin Console, click Enterprise Settings. In the top bar, click Box Sign. Click Edit Configuration from the Configure Sign section. Select the enablement option. If you enable or disable Sign for select users or groups, type the user names, email addresses or names of groups you want to allow or deny. Click Save

This is an inquiry regarding the individual account holder (Personal Information redacted) who wanted to use our BOX account. This is a duplicate of the previous inquiry, but I deleted my account on March 29th, but when I try to register using this email address, "Unable to add one user" "Group and folder selection and user settings for all Box users are "Available once the user accepts the invitation" A message appears. After receiving today's response, I performed a password reset, but an error occurred while processing the request. "The account associated with this email address cannot be used for online activation. Please contact Billing Support at +1 650 329 1210 or billing@box.com." A message appears. I would like to complete the procedure to be able to use Box immediately, so If possible, I would like to receive a response from you today.We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your understanding.

Hello, I am having some problems bending my brain around now online and offline mode works with Box Drive on Mac. It def not work in the same way as I am used too with other cloud services.1. Made a folder on the web "Labels". Made a folder in Finder "Bergwall". They got different "cloud" icons:2. I guessed that if it got an Icon it was online only. No hard guess since the one with was made online and the one without in Finder.3. When rightclicking on each and one of them, both had the option "Make available offline" which I thought was weird since "Bergwall" was already offline if I did my guess in #2 right.4. My folder "Labels" contained a couple of more fiels to experiment with, so I stepped further in and clicked "Make available offline" on another folder. It got a green checkmark.5. I then selected "Make available Online only" and the green check mark dissapeared. 6. The earlier icon with a cloud and an arrow down didn't appear so this made me wonder. There was a message saying. After receiving the reply from the other day, I am resetting my password. A message appears saying you have been invited to join an Enterprise account. I think I can use it by accepting the invitation I received, but I am not included in the managed users of our BOX. Is this possible to use BOX? Please let me know what kind of processing is required to include it as a managed user.
