need to change my email address

I want to change the email address associated with my box account.  The posts say add an email (I cannot seem to find that as an option) or upgrade (but what level do i need to upgrade to be able to change my email associated with my account?)

Hi Jason, 

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

To change your email address, you should start by adding an email address:

  1. Log in to the Box website and navigate to Account Settings> Add a collaborator or Link Personal Email section. 
  2. You must click Link Personal Email twice.
  3. Enter a valid email address.
  4. Click Save.

An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.

Important

For security purposes, the verification email for Admin and Co-admin users will be sent to their existing primary email address, not the newly entered email address.

To make a secondary email address your primary email address:

  • Click Make Primary next to the email address you want as your primary email address.
