This category is a great place for general questions and conversations around all things Box. To get started go to “Create A Topic” on the top right and you will be presented with the option to ask a Question or start a Conversation.  Questions could be anything around using the Box product or integrations Conversations can be more open such as ideas, best practices, tips and tricks, something interesting you done with Box or even something you have read relating to your job and intelligent content management, AI, security, etc or highlights from a recent event. Conversations can also be phrased as questions e.g. Did you know? 📣 There are a few simple things you can do to make your post more effective:If you have a question, make sure you have done a search!  Phrase your title as an open question. How to use rclone with Box?

Can rclone be used with a free Box account? Are there any reliable instructions for setting up rclone to access Box? (I’m finding a lot of guides that do not work).

Folder Comparison

We have a lot of folders in Box that contains a lot of duplicative folders/files and wanted to find a way to compare them so that if They are the same, we can just delete one of them One has more files, delete the one with less files Missing files in either folders, synch them and delete one of them.I’m not sure if Box have this capability or not.  Secondly, Box Drive doesn’t show certain type of files, we can’t really do an apple-to-apple comparison between the folders using third party software on our local Box Drive.Any suggestion, API, etc is greatly appreciate.

Hello, for a few days when opening my PC, an error message has appeared. I try to make it disappear by following the procedure indicated, the notification disappears but it reappears when I open the PC again.... Thank you for your help.

Is it possible to set Closed Captions to play automatically when a VTT file is included?

We’ve recently been adding the VTT files alongside the MP4 files on our own platform and I was wondering if it were possible to set closed captions to play by default if the VTT file is present, rather than the user having to turn it on. I’m also checking in our LMS to see if I can do anything there, but thought I’d check with the source first.Many thanks

Yes, you could configure a Suspicious Location rule limiting access, and exempt the organization from it except for the intended user, then enable the automatic blocking option.
