We have shared folders with clients outside of our company and beginning last week, they were getting a notice that their box was full, when all they had in it was our shared folder. It was my understanding that our folders went against our storage limits.

Business plans and higher include unlimited storage; however, in some cases, a limit may be set on the space allocated to a user’s account. That seems to be the most likely explanation in this situation.
In the shared folder where your collaborators upload files, could you check who the owner is?

If the owner is one of your managed users, please check their storage allocation.

If their storage is not set to unlimited, follow this guide to increase their storage allocation:
- Go to the Admin Console.
- Navigate to the Users & Groups tab.
- Search for the user and click on their name to edit.
- Under Edit User Account Details, locate the Storage Quota section.
- Increase the allocated storage or check the box for Unlimited.

Once the changes are made, please ask your collaborators to try again. If this does not resolve the issue, let us know, and we will investigate further.
