👋 Hi @RobertG! Welcome to the Box Community!

Currently, email notifications for edits are not supported. For both folders you own and those you've joined (where you are a collaborator), you can receive notifications for:

  • Downloads
  • Uploads
  • Comments (the default is selected for folders you own)
  • Previews
  • Deletes (the default is selected for folders you own)

You can try using the Comment feature, where the user who made the edit can leave a comment on a file. Be sure to enable notifications for comments in your settings or at the folder level where the specific file is stored. Check out these articles to learn more:

Additionally, the primary admin and co-admin with the necessary permissions can view users who made changes or saved a new version of a file by running a User Activity Report for File Management > Edit.

Furthermore, our Product Team is constantly looking for ways to improve Box based on user feedback. You can submit this as a feature request in Box Pulse or upvote an existing request, such as Notification if an edit is made to a file.

Let us know if you have any other concerns or questions. 😊
