I currently have an unlimited account and share folders with collaborators. One collaborator is trying to upload data to a shared folder but is receiving an error that there is not enough storage space. I don’t understand why they would receive this error given that we both have unlimited BOX accounts. Can you help me determine the cause of this and suggest a way to increase the storage space.

Storage and upload limits depend on the account type of the folder owner. Regarding the issue, could you please double-check if you’re the owner of the folder? Has the collaborator tried splitting the upload into smaller batches? This often works best and improves reliability.
If the folder is owned by someone else, please reach out to the owner to check their storage allocation. Also, kindly verify that the data being uploaded is within the account’s upload limit.

Thank you. My account is the owner account and I have a Business Plus unlimited plan. Are there upload limits for collaborators who try to upload data to the folder? The message from my collaborator who experienced the issue is pasted below:
“When I try to copy the ora files (total of 236 GB) from my Box folder to AoW Box I also get a message about insufficient space:
“There is not enough space on Box. You need an additional 59.4 GB to copy these files.””
