Co-authoring & Links

Good day everyone,

We started our migration to Box about 5 years ago and Links within Documents have always been a blocker.  With this we had to migrate file servers to AWS FSX.  

We had a few IT people that we had in the past enabled co-authoring, love the autosave.  Now since the announcement back in May and the support of Links, we have been testing with a few groups.

I admit I am not well versed with setting up links within Excel and am wondering, what if any advice and tips you may have as we move forward within our company to enable for everyone and prepare our support desk with any guidance for support.

Regarding technical requirements: 

  • Users need to have Microsoft Co-authoring enabled. Learn more here.

  • Users need to be on the latest version of Microsoft Office 365.
