Error Message - "cannot delete folder with un-synced files

I am receiving the error message referenced in the title above - I continues to pop up and interfere with my screen and i don’t care if there are any un-synced files.  I want the message to go away but I cannot find the files the message is referring to, for the purpose of deleting those files.  I have tried and tried to find a way of solving this problem and cannot figure it out.  Again, I am not interested in finding the files referred to, but it appears that I must find them to stop the error message that keeps taking up room on my laptop.  Thanks for your help.  Jim
