Managed Users email address no longer a valid email address. Tried to update but input new email incorreclty and it is still waitng for verification. Went to edit with correct email address and receive a message stating that an account already exists for that email. How do I fix the primary email address?

An email address can only be associated with one Box account. If a user has already established a Box account using a specific email, they will receive an error indicating that the email address is already taken if they try to sign up or change the email.
Regarding the correct email, is it currently associated with a personal account or another enterprise? This will help us determine how to proceed. For security reasons, please refrain from posting your full email address.
We have different processes for releasing an email address so it can be used with the correct account. These processes include inviting a free user as a managed user or having the admin delete the user's email once it’s added to the enterprise.
