How to get more out of the user reporting

Hi everyone, 

Keeping track of user activity in Box can be a challenge - does anyone have any best practices for what to look for in Box reporting for tracking users?

    @jackbox, great question!  Here are a few tips:

    Utilize the User Activity Report (UAR): UARs provide an overview of the actions your users are taking in Box. Use this report to view the actions made by your users within a given time period. You can filter the report by:

    • Groups or managed users
    • Specific folders or files
    • Action types (events)

    You may want to also consider the following:

    1. These specific actions in the UAR- login activity, file and folder actions or shared link usage
    2. Security reports- failed login attempts, suspicious activity, external collab activity
    3. Collaboration reports- user collaboration and commenting and tasks
