Hi there, I have a question: how can I reduce the seats?

You can request to decrease your seat counts by sending an email to cancel@box.com. The specialists from our Cancellations Team are the ones handling decrease seats, downgrade, and cancellation requests.


Please note that if you are subscribed to a business-level account, the minimum seats is 3. Learn more about reducing seats by visiting: Decreasing Seats From Your Subscription

I am so frustrated that I cannot find a way to reduce licenses. Every post about this in the community ended with one of your reps filing a help ticket in order to keep us all in the dark about how to do this.

You can find information about the process for reducing licenses here: Decreasing Seats From Your Subscription. Please note that such requests are evaluated and processed by our specialists in accordance with Box Terms. Seat decreases can only be processed at the end of the account's term.

 

The account administrator can submit a request to decrease seats by emailing cancel@box.com.

Dear all,

Would you please tell me how to decrease contracted license number?

Now I contracted 4 members, but I would like to modify to 3 members.

We sold the majority of our business and are winding down our user count. We are down from 96 to 16 members now, and will downgrade to only 5 or 6 users within the next month. Due to the sale, we have no incoming revenue and must drop to the lowest cost possible.

They are the right team to assist, and I can confirm that a specialist has already reached out and is awaiting your response. Please reply to them with the total number of seats you’d like to keep moving forward.


Once verified, they will process the request in accordance with Box Terms.

 I need to cancel 2 of the 16 licenses we have. I asked this question a month ago by mail and by this community, but I never received a reply.

Plese let me know How reduce number of license.In January I’ll need reduce also another license.
