Your account was upgraded online from a free to a Business Annual subscription and was charged according to the purchased plan and licenses. Please note that only the primary admin can upgrade an account online.

Our records show that you’ve initiated the cancellation process online, and your account is now pending deactivation. Your account will be canceled at the end of the current service term. No further charges will be incurred unless you choose to reactivate a paid subscription in the future.

I thought I had purchased an individual subscription, but today I checked my email and saw a withdraw for over $500. This was my child’s school tuition money which is due on Monday. I need someone to get back with me and cancel this payment. I am just beside myself and cannot get in contact with a real human.

Hello Box Billing Team,

I am writing to inquire about a charge of $1,343.16 that was recently processed on my credit card for Box account B01753495. I do not recognize this transaction and believe it may have been accidental, possibly occurring while I was browsing the site and inadvertently entered my payment information.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could cancel this charge immediately and process a full refund.

I have also attempted to contact your support line at 877-729-4269, but was unable to resolve this issue through that channel.

So I am trying request a refund after the 7 day free trial.  In my account you can see that I have used no storage and uploaded no documents.  This is not for a business it was personal and I did not realize that this was for business use.  I do not have a need.  I just received the first automated billing of 61 dollars on invoice INV12847093.  I am posting here because when you click the how to request a refund link it goes to a page not found, when you click the go to support to submit a ticket.  There is no place to submit a ticket.  I find this practice to be very misleading.  So I will post it here for everyone.  I would like a refund.  And have cancelled my account.  You billed me this morning and I am requesting within 1 hour of the charge.  Thank you.

We offer a 14-day free trial for both business and enterprise accounts. As outlined in our terms of service (please see below), an account needs to be canceled before the end of the 14-day trial to avoid any charges.

Per our terms of agreement:

"You can sign-up for a trial for some of the Services and your trial period starts on the day you create the trial account and lasts for 14 days. If you are on a trial, you may cancel at any time until the last day of your trial. If you do not wish to incur charges, you must cancel the account by the end of the 14th day."


If you do not cancel your account and we have told you the account will converted to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period, then you authorize us to charge your credit card for that specific Service. You may, however, cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle in accordance with these Terms, but no credits or refunds will be available.
