Hi there!

I want to run a report to JUST see The owners and co-owners of folders in the Box and the people who have access to those folders and their respective permission levels, not individual documents. When I’ve run previous reports, they’ve been the  very large and unwieldy, making it difficult for someone else in my organization to view.

I need an easier way to get a list of owners or permissions at the folder level in Box, without having to sift through a large number of records. What’s the best way to do this?

Hi @sobermeyer 👋 Welcome to Box community!

You may try running a Collaborations Report where it will show user permissions on all collaborated files. There should be columns in the report titled "Owner Name" and "Owner Login" which will show the name and email address of the Primary Owner of the file/folder shown in the log. You must also define filters for the Collaborations report before you can run it.

Please be advised that Collaborations Report exports a current snapshot of user permissions on all collaborated files in your enterprise.

However, this report does not have a filter for permissions and you will have to manually filter out the users with the collaboration permission "Co-Owner" once the report is generated.

Feel free to reach out if you have other related queries. You may also submit a support ticket in the event you encountered an issue running a report. 🤗

Have a great day! 🌻
