I had a power hit, my SYNOLOGY device running cloud sync dropped the connection to box.  It now fails to re-authenticate - I get the following error.

 

Windows received an HTTP error message: 403 (Forbidden) from "synooauth.synology.com"

 

All other devices work just fine and I have double checked credentials and updated all drivers and restarted all devices.

We’ll be needing a bit more information on how your browser is interacting with Box to get to the root cause of the problem and may collect information such as a HAR capture. This would require troubleshooting with the help of our Product Support, so kindly open a support ticket for assistance.


Also to best isolate the case, on your ticket, please provide the following information:

  • API key/Client ID of the third party app.
  • Was this integration working before? If so, when did it stop functioning properly?
  • Have you already contacted the creator of Synology Cloud prior to reporting the issue with Box?
  • Provide the exact error message you're receiving when trying to link the app to your Box Account (i.e. HTTP error message: 403 (Forbidden) from "synooauth.synology.com")
