Hi all! Is there a way for a Box folder to sync with our Google groups? We heavily use email groups at our organization. When we add members to a Google group, it would be helpful to automatically add them to a box folder, but I don't know if this is possible. Has anyone accomplished this before?
At Box, we understand how crucial your content is, and we are committed to ensuring its security. 🔐⚙ Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is one of the most powerful tools available to admins for verifying user identity and securing access to content. MFA is a security mechanism in which users must provide two or more pieces of evidence, or factors, before being granted access to a product or service, such as Box. If your organization does not use single sign-on (SSO) for authentication, Box allows users to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for their accounts. The first factor is a password, and the second factor is a one-time password (OTP). You can choose from authenticator apps, SMS, or email for the second factor. 🔴 SMS 📲A short message service, the text messaging you use on your phone, and receives one-time passwords created from a secure random generator. 🔴 Authenticator apps 🔐🔢Generate unique one-time passwords (OTPs) using algorithms, with each password expiring after a

How does Box Hubs interact with a user’s file permissions? For example, would a user see/interact with a file if they aren’t invited to the Hub already?
I can't login because Box.com keeps telling me I need to change my password. I've now changed it twice and I'm stuck in a loop of frustration.BTW, the number of questions I have to answer to post this topic is unprecedented in my experience.
I’m using the Obsidian app to learn Mandarin, and it creates markdown files. I back it all up to Box.I came across a problem where I can’t create files with pinyin in the names. Mandarin has a lot of homophones, and I wanted to be able to organise them as they come up.As an example, take yi. It could be written yī, yí, yǐ, or yì, according to whichever tone it takes. However, I can’t create filenames using any of the variants with a tone as Box sees them all as ‘yi’, telling me I’ve already named a file this.I was hoping that someone, even if they aren’t using pinyin, might have needed to create names in languages that use diacritics of any other kind that might have generated this conflict. When I try it doesn’t change the tone mark over the word, but it does append my email address because there’s a naming conflict. If I put a third pinyin with another tone it does the same, but adds a 2 to the end of the email, and so on. This makes a mess within Obsidian.I don’t have any problem cre
Hi,In the office, we have three computers with Box Drive installed, and all folders are set to sync. However, some files are not syncing on one of the computers, while the other two computers sync the files and folders without any problems. When I check Box Drive, there are no error messages.I'm guessing the internet is not an issue here since the other two computers are syncing fine.I thought about logging out and logging back in to Box Drive, but I'm concerned about losing any unsynced files. Please help me resolve this issue.Thank you.
I can’t login it says the following:“We found an issue with your accountGoing forward, Box will require that your Google account address matches your Box account address.” None of the login paths work - google email isn’t connected to the account and my personal email is giving this error. I can’t even login to contact support. Password reset doesn’t work. At this point I just want to login to delete my account. Could you please help? Thank you,Jiri
I had a power hit, my SYNOLOGY device running cloud sync dropped the connection to box. It now fails to re-authenticate - I get the following error. Windows received an HTTP error message: 403 (Forbidden) from "synooauth.synology.com" All other devices work just fine and I have double checked credentials and updated all drivers and restarted all devices.
Hello! We’re starting a clean-up exercise on our content, and we’d like to categorize content depending on last access date (content not accessed in last 12 months, 24 months, 5 years). The Files and Folders report includes last modified date but not last access date. Would there be a script we could use to generate the data we need or even better a way to get that through reports? We have 400 TB of content / 120 million files in case that has any bearing on the recommended option. Many thanks!
I am fairly new to Box. I would like to know how I can collaborate with Box?
Is there a setup in Box that allows users with proper permissions to save data to their desktop? Box Sync use to perform this task perfectly; however, it no longer works.

But I can’t access the old email because I changed the domain of it. I checked previous topics but they say to require support on it. Thanks, Bianca

I have a Hub that I am using as a test content library. I’ve uploaded several files and I uploaded 1 folder with 10 documents in it.When I query box AI in the hub, AI will not recognized files within the folder, only files outside of the folder. Is this expected behavior?
