I am unable to download multiple files at a time, the download option appears when I am in each filed. Is there a fix for this? It's very time consuming to download each file at a time. Help!
I'm getting "Access denied - insufficient permission" when trying to update a file that I am a co-owner on (I am a co-owner on the entire directory), and I am able to edit the file manually. I can successfully start the program (getting the message "Authenticated successfully! Accessing Box root folder: All Files") and download & read from files, but I get the 403 when trying to update, even though the app has read and write permissions.
For the love of all that is good....please fix this issue. I have tried communicating with support numerous times and this still keeps happening. As you can see by this screenshot, I am nowhere near the limit yet I get a message almost daily that I cannot upload something because there is no storage space. There are only so many files I can delete to make room for more as I must keep certain files for a required number of years. This issue needs to be fixed immediately and I don't want to hear your previous excuse "It is a known issue that sometimes some of the statistics of our product may be inaccurate. Sometimes it may take up to 24hrs to correct these counts. Please know that this is entirely the display of these totals issue on the UI, and has no effect on your underlying data. All of your files remain in place and have not decreased in size or been edited by unauthorized people". That is complete gibberish. It is absolutely insane that I am going in circles trying to get this f
.m4v format video files won't load and play in Box android app, there isn't a play symbol to select at all! They were fine till last week, but now suddenly many of the videos are not playing in Box android app, kindly help with this.... Need solution pls!!
I am attempted to download several files pertaining to video footage. I see that it gives me the option to download and when I select what items to download, it says "your download will begin shortly." I never receive any further update on the downloads, nor can I see the status, or where the downloads may be located. I was hoping you could help address this situation.
inherent Windows Smart App Control showed a notification that some .dll cannot be recognized that Box drive failed to upgrade to latest version when I am in the middle of updating Box drive in Windows 11.
I am trying to download data from https://nrcs.app.box.com/v/naip There are thousands of large files and the UI can't be used except to download them one at a time. I have paid for a Box account and am trying to use the API to download these files programmatically. With the API I can connect using my ClientId and ClientSecret. I can then navigate folders and view details of files, but when I try to download any file I get the error: "status":403,"code":"access_denied_insufficient_permissions" I am using a C# library, but have also simulated the same result using Postman and Curl. Here is are the meaningful parts of my C# code (the connection, and the attempt to download): var ccgConfig = new CcgConfig(clientId: "{MyClientId}", clientSecret: "{MyClientSecret}"){ EnterpriseId = "{MyEnterpriseId}"};await using var stream = await client.Downloads.DownloadFileAsync(fileId: "1455984229313", headers: new DownloadFileHeaders{Boxapi = "shared_link=https://nrcs.app.box.com/v/naip",}); Note
I set up a Box Account recently (using my gmail login) and have been able to log in online with no problems. But on the desktop app, I get stuck in a login loop. I select login on Box Drive screen, Google Chrome opens I authenticate through Google, and I am taken back to the Box Drive screen with no change. I've tried to: - Uninstall/reinstall Box Drive- Use the Box Reset Tool - Reset Box Drive with the recommended terminal commands: fileproviderctl domain remove -A com.box.desktop.boxfileprovider; defaults delete com.box.desktop; rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Box/Box The issue persists. I'm running Mac OS 14.6.1
Hello, I had some folders that I created and shared with a member of my team. Now they randomly disappeared from Box. It's not in the Trash either. Could you help us find them? Thank you
Please let me know how to change the payment currency USD to JPY?
Hi Box support, We've transferred the Admin to another user but we wanted to transfer the ACCOUNT OWNERSHIP of the Box. Can you please provide a guide on how to do that? Thank you.
I just applied to upgrade from personal to Business plan. However, I would like to re-select the other Plan. Is that possible for you to delete my application and refund the payment, so that I can re-select the Plan? Thank you.
Hello, I'm having issues verifying a Domain, i've entered the domain in the Domain Management and have added the verification code as a TXT record in the DNS Registrar. I've been able to see DNS Checker that the Record is appearing but Box isn't verifying the status showing failed when I refresh the status.
I cant open Drive in my PC (Windows 10 Home 64bit). Ive tried to uninstall (succefully done it) and reinstall (cant do it, showing this error): Ive downloaded last version of Box Drive but still error persist. Any help please??
For some reason last week (maybe it was because I updated OS to Sequoia), my search function on my Mac into the Box Sync folder stopped working. I can not search for any files via the Finder on my Mac. Nothing. Zilch. Zip! I just get an empty field back. I restarted my computer. Still nothing. While all of the files are still there in my Box Sync folder and available, it's like they are invisible to me. Can someone at Box please help me with this challenge as it's quite annoying. Thanks, Geoff Thatcher

I signed in via SSO because I have Box through my organization. Someone who is part of another organization external to my organization invited me to collaborate on a folder, and I got a message that I need to update to a strong password before I can access it. In previous posts about this "Strong Password Required" message, the answer claimed that "If an external collaborator already uses SSO to access Box, we consider that a strong password and do not require updating the password" but that seems to not be true in my case. Under Account Settings, there is the following: "Because you are using Single Sign On (SSO), you will need to create a unique password to use external applications that do not support SSO." Once I set this password, it let me accept the invitation to collaborate. It doesn't seem like someone from an organization other than mine sharing a Box folder would count as an "external application," but it seems this is the (not obvious from the error message) solve for peop
I created an account using Google SSO, and now I'm stuck with the problem that seems to have been known for over a year in that I cannot create a password. I'm trying to access files that were shared with me which requires a strong password be set on my account before I can see the files.
Box drive runs when PC starts. I Login, enter email address, I sign in (using my Google email) then the window that appears for me to next Login re-appears
Once I upload a file from the app on my mac, and after the sync, I want to keep it only online, and if I want to download I would click on the icon (not downloaded) to use it. But there is no option to (free space) or (keep it online). Where is the option in the menu that gives me the option to free space by keeping the file online? If there is no option are u going to make that happens? I'm about to subscribe in one of your plans but that is a dealbreaker for me.
I cannot see files my client uploaded. I sent them a link to the shared folder, they said they uploaded it, but I cannot see it.
I tried to upload a file that exceeds the file size file limit ... Everyday since Box automatically re-tries the failed upload and everyday it fails ... How do I stop the re-tries?
I click on the link to a file that was shared and Box opens, but says "Oops! We can't seem to find the page you're looking for."
Hello, I signed up via Google SSO and when I try to change my password (I currently have no password) to access a file that requires a strong password, I repeatedly get an error message. This occurs on both Safari and Chrome. I am unable to set up my password. Please help. Thank you.
