Usage increased after moving files

I moved a file and the usage increased. To confirm, I deleted all the files and the usage was shown as 700 MB even though there were 0 files. What is the cause and what can I do about it?

    Thank you for your quick response.
    I checked the usage a few days later and was able to confirm that it was a reasonable value.
    I'm grateful that my doubts have been resolved.
