Share Link Not working

After using BOX Share Links for many years, it is now requiring recipients to login with their accounts or create a Free account with BOX.  This had never been an issue before.  All of the options have been checked for anyone with the Link may access the Folder or File.  Has anything changed with BOX with this option?  I have been using the Free version of BOX to help me with a nonprofit organization I am part of.  It has been a blessing.  Now I am in a situation of Not knowing what to do.  Please advise.
