I'm trying to evaluate using box instead of dropbox, but i can't get the app to install so i can have the desktop experience. I downloaded it for mac, said it was successful, then brought me to a screen where i am redirected to the website to enter username. Then it just stops and says 'launcing box' and never does anything else. i've tried installing / uninstalling many times. I did see that the Box Live Com server wasn't running in the applications. I see a grayed out 'box' logo at the top of my taskbar. but nothing in locations in finder, and can't access it through the taskbar either. 

I accidentally deleted my teammeber account with his a lot of data on January 29th, 2025. Is there any way to restore?? 

Our organisation is experiencing issues with opening and saving files via Box Drive on Windows PCs. While files appear correctly on the website, Box Drive is frequently unresponsive, causing the system to hang and folders to appear empty. This is severely impacting our ability to work. Could you please advise on a solution?

I am experiencing an issue with logging in. Here are the steps I have taken so far: Created an administrator user. Set a password policy that is stronger than the one used during user creation. After changing the settings, I encountered the following error and was unable to log in or navigate pages: I suspect the error is due to the current password violating the new policy. Used the "Forgot Password" feature to update the password. Even after updating, I still see the following screen: I performed a logout operation. Suspecting a cache issue, I tried logging in using Private mode and was able to log in without any problems. Current Issue: Even after restarting the PC and attempting to log in again, the issue described in step 5 persists, and I cannot log in outside of Private mode.

Hello!I currently am trying to log into my box account, which once upon a time, did have a password. However, in private browser tabs and different browsers, it requires me to sign in through google at each point in sign in. I need to be able to log into my account with a password so that I can access files for an association I am working with - their privacy settings require my account to be logged in with a password. If I am signing in through google, those folders don't appear. I tried to set a password on my account in settings, but it threw an error message stating it can't. I have also tried to reset my password several times, and it confirms it worked - but when I log in, it doesn't use it and settings still says I have no password.This was all set up correctly once upon a time within the past week; on a different computer all together but still working how it needed too; and I haven't logged in since then. Hello, I am attempting to set up Box.com for a managed user at <personal information-redacted> We use Microsoft Exchange. I have attempted to send dozens of email confirmations from Box.com to this address, and none arrive. I have added box.com to safe senders for his account. I have checked spam and conducted email trace. I can find no sign that any box.com emails are reaching this address. Jason Owens

Hi there, As I logged in through Google, my account has no existing password. I've tried setting it but it always says "problem has occured". Tried the reset password option as well but I do not receive any email. Not in junk as well. Please assist, thank you.

I have an a USAfx account, however, I am being told "unable to sign in" when I attempt to login with my email and password. I attempted to reset my password, however, am not receiving any emails regarding a password reset. 

Hello, A folder was shared with me which requires a strong password.  I sign into box using the google SSO, and am unable to set up a separate password for box (nor do I want to). I see there are many similar threads here.  How can I resolve this issue?Thanks,Brian.

I don't see an option to open PDFs with Bluebeam.  Is it possible to open PDFs with Bluebeam within BOX?

Hello together, I've been trying to create a customer app with JWT-auth. In the setup-description Setup with JWT - Box Developer Documentation, there is mentioned an "Authorization" Tab that should be available for the registered app. But for my app there is no such tab:   In other posts in the Forum, I learned that I would need a Developer Account to be able to use server-side authentications, instead of a free Box account. Is this correct? Is it possible to change my free Box acount to a developer account and would there be any fees associated with it?  

i get a blue screen of death whenever i upload a file in box drive, after the machine reboots, the file its in the folder, that only happens when the file is uploaded to the drive, not when you delete or move anything

I was working on an excel document most of yesterday afternoon, and most of today. Randomly it just closed out of nowhere and when I went to open it back up, it showed that it had not been saved since I opened it up yesterday. I've tried recovering it through the file-open and repair, and nothing is popping up. I just lost 24 hours of work on this document.

Hello, I'm trying to access files and folders stored that were stored on my Box account and seem to have gone missing. It looks like they're no longer available. Is there a log or some system of record I can view to see when these files and folders were removed from my account?

File stopped syncing today 4 february 2025 from our AppleMac Pros to Box on the web. We have checked our network and dont have problem problems there, the issue had developed over night as all syncs were working yesterday. Our colleague working from home is experiencing the same issue on her AppleMac Pro. Hello, We're looking into Box AI, and wanted to confirm which model is currently used to process requests in Box AI in Box Notes, Box AI in Documents and Box AI in Box Hubs. I've seen that the initial annoucement was around GPT 3.5 / 4 and that Box AI can integrate with various LLMs, but I'm unclear around the current status (and also how would we be notified of any change).
