Under Account settings/ Integrations I've changed the defaults for Word & Excel to open with Microsoft Office Online but the file still open with box previewer. This is happening on macOS Sonoma and Sequoia / Safari / Chrome / Edge.I've tried this across three machines with and without box tools.Things I have tried.1.Clean MacOS 2. Hello, I have a client who cannot log into BOX with out the 2-Step Verification. The issue she is facing is that she can't log in to set up the 2-Step Verification so sh can't get a code unless she has a QR code from her account which she cannot log into.

Seems to happen ever since MFA a few months back. However it only gets to MFA now if reset the PWD and it only works once. Next time it says PWD is bad.
Even if I completely delete unnecessary files, the capacity remains the same. Therefore, I cannot upload new files.
Hi, i recently started a new work project with a company, so they share with me their files, everything good, i open Dropbox and i can see their folders, but where all my personal files gone? I went to ALL files and i just can't find them... After this i realize that i was in https://app.box.com/folder/0 so i close it that and i type https://www.dropbox.com/, this actually lead me to my own files, and if i go to https://app.box.com then i can see the company's files, so what is the difference between app.box.com and dropbox.com? Today at 8:22 am CST, 19 box files from various work files were uploaded to different box file from the JPMC shared drive without a prompt. Additionally, file were deleted from the box folder without any prompt and simultaneously re-created. Clearly this is a system error. Please call to discuss 212 648 0053 (Therese Rutherford). Note, the option to delete was available which never occured before and has since been removed.

I moved to a new MAC. I used to have capability to Open my XCEL files with "Open with MS Excel Online" -- this way I don't override someone else's updates. Now I have to lock the file, and open with Xcel, then make my updates, save, then unlock the file. This is not only time consuming but inefficient because I prevent others from updating the file when it is locked. How can I get the ability to open my xcel files "Online" again ?
My folder that is named "Google" has no files. But my folder says 「24.2 MB/10.0 GB used」. Please clear my folder capacity. Then make my folder「0 MB/10.0 GB used」.

Hi All I have been using Box Drive for years and love it, however, there is one very minor issue I cant solve. My PC is a Windows 10 home PC and I normally have box pinned to start, when Box updates it no longer pins to start and I have to do that manually. Not a big issue but I would like Box to automatically pin to start after update. Any suggestions please.
I have the same issue others have had, in that box doesn't connect and message says 'no longer running' - however, I cannot uninstall box as I cannot quit the application. Help!

Hi Team, I am trying to access my Box storage files from my Kubernetes containers, but I was unable to establish a connection due to the following reasons: WebDAV Might Be Disabled for Your Enterprise DomainSome Box enterprise environments may not have WebDAV access enabled, or they might require specific configurations for protocols like WebDAV. This could explain why attempts to access Box using lftp are being redirected to the login page. Your Organization Uses SSO/2FAIt seems that my organization enforces Single Sign-On (SSO) or Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), which is preventing direct authentication methods like WebDAV, leading to the redirection. Could you please assist in resolving this issue so that I can access my files from the containers? Thank you for your support.
I paid the business license fee for the storage update in the box yesterday. But, data (word, ppt, PDF etc..) are all disappered!!! I checked history and trash, but it is not in trash and no trace of it. Of course I or my colleagues didn't delete it. The file of the box contains a lot of my work from the last 3 years. I can not login to box drive after reset my laptop. but I can login in browser. After I click the login, it direct to browser, I success login, but it direct to this interface again. there is no box in my explorer.

Folders and files load way too slow on Box for iPhone. Real slow. It's extremely annoying and time consuming. My wifi is strong. My cellular is strong. I tried deleting and downloading back. I don't have this issue anywhere else. I've been using Box for 12 years. This is a Box problem. Thanks. Keith
I need to add a user to our company account but I am getting the error "Email already used in a Box account but not associated with an enterprise" We are supposed to be able to "capture" any private accounts that use our email domain.
