What is the name of the file that failed to save changes, and where is it located in your Box account? It's a powerpoint file What operating system do you work with? Windows 11 Home Have you noticed Box Edit failing to save changes to other files besides this specific file? If so, are they all of the same file type, or are some .docx, .xlsx, .xls, etc? Didn't notice When you saved the file, did you click "Save" or "Save As"? Both Do you remember seeing two pop-ups in the bottom right hand corner of your screen saying "Saving to Box" and "Saved to Box" after you clicked Save? Just "Saving"

Ugh - this has to be a support nightmare - everything I click on leads me in circles. I have a personal account to view files I have purchased from a vendor that are downloaded here. That is my only use of Box.com.  I have NO administrator and none of the things that are referenced in any of the suggestions on how to change the email address. I had an email sent to my new email address for verification and when I clicked on the link I got a box that said I was doing something forbidden!  In addition that vendor has files downloaded somewhere else for me to access (probably under my new/correct email address) that I can only access through a link from them.  I shudder to think how difficult it will be to combine those files to one account.  User friendly NOT!!!  Please let me change my email address as my internet provider will be shutting off my access any day now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using box since 4 years and saved all of my files in Box Synch. Since this morning, the Box Synch icon on my desktop (in my files) is deleted from my local files (it appeared between the normal Box and Creative Cloud files). I only uploaded files in Box Synch and not in the normal Box. Now that I check in the normal Box (only available app), the files are 6 – 12 months old. I downloaded Box Synch again (on Windows desktop) but after the synch, it shows only the (6-12 month old) files that also appear in the normal Box desktop app (and on Box.com). It didn’t recover my work from the last 6-12 months which seemed to have been "living" only on the Box Synch location on desktop. On Box.com, these files are not synched either. Do you know where the Box Synch files would be saved and would you be able to help me recover these files? I have worked an entire year, day-in and day-out on this location, saving thousands of files that were accessible all the time. I cannot imagine t

The support page titled "Our approach to announcing releases" says that Tier 1 and Tier 2 releases are announced in both customer and developer newsletters. I'd like to subscribe to the customer newsletter, but haven't found a way to do so. I'd appreciate any pointers. Thank you.

I have a few subfolders that show up in the online client, but when I check in windows, they do not appear.  What do I need to do?

Is there a way to prevent certain users from accessing older versions of files? Some people need access to our files but we only want them to see the most recent version, and not any of the 100+ older versions. Currently we have to keep deleting older versions, but in some cases we do want to keep them for our records and still prevent others from seeing them. 

Box in browser does not accept credentials and requests to reset password. The windows and android apps function normally but any attempt to sign in via a browser is unsuccessful. I reuse the same password to reset. This is annoying.

I can't find documentation for an endpoint listing user collaborations. The request below seems to work fine, with an exception of setting `fields` query parameter. I am using Box Drive on my PC which shows all top-level folders under the Box folder within the navigation pane in Windows Explorer. As I get added to more projects and given access to more folders, this list of folders is growing to a point where it no longer is helpful from a quick access perspective. For folders I use a lot, I can add them to the Quick Access section, but I was hoping there was a way to simply limit the number of folders that show up under the Box section. Is that a functionality that is available?

Hellowe deleted almost all our files on box including trash and account still show used 9.5GB out of 10GB.

I deleted my all files and folders and empty trash box, but storage count is 11.3GB. Please correct my storage count.

The file you can see in the web version but doesn't look like  an exploer. I wanna be see the file on my PC,but also don't there. Is there a solution? Plz help me.     

My sync folder on PC is around 30gb, while online it shows that I don't have any more space as it is 50.1 of 50gb

Info required to fetch a file from a box account and store it on my local server. The file(s) will be placed in a specific named folder. I'll need to pull all files in that folder basis logic in my application. Once downloaded, I then delete those files to clean out the folder

I am unable to download items also noticed I now have a box asking me to upgrade my plan but I am using an enterprise account 

Hi - this recommendation has not solved my issue. The owner has reviewed settings and confirmed access was granted to me. When I attempt to access the folder through the link this is what I get.

There is an integration on the iPad through which you can move files and folders on the box account via the Files app (the same iPad app through which you can see iCloud Drive, On My iPad, and other things). I did some folder changes on my box account via the Files app and when I opened the box app, none of the changes had synced. What’s worse is that some folders I put inside other folders disappeared, but only when looking at the box app (via the sidebar) of the Files app. My question is: have I lost these files and folders? Or is it just a matter of synchronization? I assume not, but still, how do I solve this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m using the latest Box app version for iPad - 5.8.5 (23221).The iPad itself is running iOS 14.7.1 Thanks once again

After our team upload a word document to box, when the client goes to open the file they are met with this message.     Is it a requirement for our client can work on the document live, not just in reading view or in the desktop app. Please can you explain why this is happening. The document is not set to read only and previous documents uploaded the same way have not had this issue. When the file was downloaded and reuploaded on to Box it was fully functioning again.    The user does have permission to the file and there were no restrictions placed on the file. The user opened the file from Box.com. The user could download the file and open it in the desktop app however that is not the preferred way for collaborative work. I've deleted almost one GB of files and then went to the Trash and deleted them. They should be gone and not counting against my storage. I have logged out, opened a new browser session, and logged back in. Yet, my account storage is still maxed out and I cannot upload a document that I need to send to a colleague. Is there a certain amount of time that I need to wait? How can the space to be available again?

Hello Team,   We have requested e-sgin from 4 memebers and got signed by 3. By mistake we cancelled the request and the complete document got cancelled. Can you please help us in recovering the same.

I recieve an error message when tryin gto open tasks and notifications: I also get an error message stating that My collections fail to load: This issue occurs on Google Crome, MS Edge and Firfox as well as on the Apple mobile App. I have cleared cache, and restarted. Nothing fixes this issue.
