400 Bad Request While downloading the file using java

I am using this java code to download the file BoxFile file = new BoxFile(api, “1233071276329”); BoxFile.Info info = file.getInfo(); FileOutputStream stream = new FileOutputStream(info.getName()); file.download(stream); stream.close(); but I am getting this {“error”:“unauthorized_client”,“error_description”:“The "box_subject_type" value is unauthorized for this client_id”} could anyone please help me.

Help Integrating Box, File Request feature with wordpress users? Happy to pay!

Hi There I am creating a wordpress site, where my students will be able to upload files on individual topics. File request features allows me, where I can create individual links / folder for specific topics Now the issue is that, they have to add their name, email addresses (i know you can remove it) again. Will it be possible to integrate this with WordPress username or profile, so that they don’t have to add their details again? I am happy to pay if someone can help me. Thanks

Files listing api call

Hi Support, I was looking for an API call to list all items in a folder including files inside the children and sub-children folders. I checked the https://developer.box.com/reference/get-folders-id-items/ API call, but it lists only files and folders inside that exact folder rather than child folders. I am looking forward to the community response.

Unity Webgl issue for upload file

Have used the upload API endpoint, and it works in the unity editor, but once build to webgl, the same API shows error 403 forbidden error. looking for a solution. thanks in advance

Hi, Is there any API that can remove specific user share from a specific file? I saw there is an API to remove a collaborator in general from the account, and i saw i can remove shared link like public or domain links, but I just want to remove specific user I shared with him the file from the specific file I shared with him. Thanks for the help.

Is it possible to get the Sync Status of all my box users through the API?

I am attempting to determine how many of my users are not properly syncing so I can proactively reach out and help fix them. Is there a method or status on each client that I can get that may say when they last synched and if there were any errors?

Getting 401 Unauthorized Error from Box API

I am using JWT app (server authentication) method for authentication and using following parameter for authentication. CLIENT_ID CLIENT_SECRET ENTERPRISE_ID PRIVATE_KEY_PASSWORD PUBLIC_KEY_ID PRIVATE_KEY I am able to create folder, search folder using the APIs But while I am using https://{{upload.box.com}}/api/2.0/files/content api it is giving me 401 Unauthorized error. Note-> Since I need to upload many files to box in loop and above API is working first time but in second time it is giving me error. Appreciate urgent help.

I’m currently integrating Box authentication into my Angular application. Metadata API Post method search performance and limitations

I have a question around searching metadata for our member’s documents. One of our engineers recalls an expert suggesting that once we fully populate Box with our approx. 9 TBs of documents (~200M) and their associated metadata, we would not be able to search using the Box Metadata API endpoint for a unique member id (internal identifier) on a custom metadata (memberId) tag, to get back a collection of Box document IDs that relate to that particular member. Instead, he suggested we build and utilize an external SQL database to host member metadata related to Box Folder and Document IDs. Is there any reason why we cannot utilize the Box APIs to do such searches in a performant way instead of having to build an external metadata management system to track this. We are already aware of the search limitation and the need for indices. Please provide us with some clarification on the best way to handle this, what are the true limitations if any, and how can we overcome them?

Box API call to Get Folder Items returns Error: Request failed with status code 404

I created a custom APP and able to run APIs from Postman without any errors. When I try to run from typescript, I am able to run API calls to get an access token. But when I run list folder items api call it fails with 404 error - not found. I also added ‘as_user’ to the header of request, but still getting the same error. What am I missing? The API call works with Developers Token. When I use Access Token the above APIs don’t work and return 404 error. Very much appreciate your responses.

Regarding possible risks with custom apps that uses OAuth 2.0 (server authentication)

There is a request to develop a Box app internally. Assuming that we do not provide the app developers with administrator or co-administrator accounts, for a custom app that uses OAuth 2.0 (server authentication), the anticipated risks include being limited to accessing folders/files within the scope of the account used to log in to the app. However, are there any other anticipated risks, particularly related to security?

Hi everyone, I’ve followed the configurations steps of this link https://help.form.io/developers/integrations/esign/esign-example to configure Esign inside form.io. When I try to test the Esign component in a simple form, I am not able to submit because it displays the following error : unable to process box sign: unable to create folder: error: error:1e08010c:decoder routines::unsupported. All the app configurations are inside box app seem to be okay. Could you help me with this? Thank you.
