After experiencing extremely slow syncing and box claiming to have fixed the issue, we are still seeing slow syncing: https://status.box.com/incidents/1nhd5by12rv1 Signing out and signing into box drive worked at first to fix the issue but it has come back and it's becoming very hard for our org to work as files aren't syncing.
When I signed saved my excel file and then logged out last week, today my file is missing. HELP....

We processed an employee termination and processed the Box file transfer to the oversight. However the oversight is not able to see any of the files that were transferred. There was another termination where the files went to this same person, and she is able to see those files just fine. Any guidance would be appreciated!
I have a box account that was set up with a previous email address. Later, I changed the email in my box.com settings to a new email address and deactivated the old email address. When I try to reset my password for the box account, it only wants to send the email to the original email. I need it to the new one. I have a lot of important documents on box.com I would like to recover. I had access until box.com signed me out.

Some Word docs won't open in the desktop app. But when I open them in Word Online, the formatting is so messed up that I can't properly edit them. I wind up having to download the document, save to my desktop, edit it, then reupload to Box. It's much less convenient. And I'm not sure why some will open just fine and others won't. How do I fix this?
Can I embed a box widget in my website that allows anyone logged into my website can access to specific docs and download docs without them needing a box account or login? Can I have multiple widgets each with specific docs only?

Hello -- Hi, I have been trying to verify my email for several days (as part of updating profile). I follow the link, get prompted to create a new password - when I press "set password" button it sends me to 403 Forbidden Attempting a prohibited action Because of this, when I attempt to view my Activities in Box Support, I receive the following: "You have an unverified email You can’t view requests because one of your email addresses has not been verified. Click here to verify your email" And the whole cycle starts again. I click to verify email, get prompted to create a password, and receive "Forbidden, attempting a prohibited action". Please advise! Hi -- I upgraded from Individual to Starter in order to track user/viewer history, per the advice of Support about 10 days ago. Specifically, certain files and folders have been deleted from my Box and I need to determine when they have been viewed, accessed or deleted. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to do this and my initial questions remain: I would like to know how to see lifetime file activity via Content Insights, to know whenever a file has been viewed or in any way accessed. *Can I do this with my account? *If I share a file with someone who does not have a Box account, can I still see when they have accessed the folder or file? *If I am not the owner of the file or folder, can I see when the owner has removed, deleted, or unlinked a file? We are changing the domain name that I use and need to add a gmail account instead for now (Its just my account) it says my account is already being used by another account. How can I change this as I really don't need to lose access
My account has been working with two-factor authentication for some time, however I have recently changed phone numbers. I was able to remove the old number, but now my account is a weird state that gives me error regardless of the method of authentication I try to enable. It says the phone number or email is invalid and trying the authenticator it never ends up showing a QR code. Can anyone assist?
I am stuck in a loop where Box Drive gets stuck in a loop and will not process the login of my google account. Every time I log in, the window closes and opens as the login window again. I have done the reset as described here:https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697494-Using-Box-Drive-Basics I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated windows, deleted the entirety of the box folders in the reset locations and registry. Nothing seems to work.

I am using this custom app from last more than 1 year. It was working find till date (06 Sept, 2024). But, abruptly, it has stopped working and started throwing an error above. Basically, its observed that the call to access the token is failing. I have reconfirmed the application secrets that I am using for the request, and it is right.
