Getting started in the community

 For instance if a Client does not want AI enabled on their data.

We are using the Box Drive app on both PCs and Macs. We have users in our home office in Gainesville, GA and remote users across the country. We are all getting errors when working with the app and have been forced to use Box in the browser. It doesn’t matter what network the user is on we are all seeing the attached error.  

yes you can disable AI for a specific hub from the settings menu within the hub

I want to share just one folder in a nest of many folders with an individual. Does that individual have access to any other files other than the one folder I intend to share.  I have tried to test this, but I always get access to the rest of the files which I do not want to share.ty

Hi,I think I understand the basics of metadata, as a way to connect documents that would otherwise not connect be connected (say in a folder structure or via search). And the prospect of having AI extract metadata is huge, given that having humans doing this is laborious and error-prone, and thus a difficult and predictably under-used part of Box use until now.What do you (for example, metadata and AI product managers and power users) see as the role of metadata in an era where AI itself can now explore a storehouse of unstructured data via prompts, set up workflows and more.  Realizing there are still likely unknowns, is the innovation of AI metadata extraction something that has a specific purpose now and for the foreseeable future, or might continuing AI developments preclude its value at some point (maybe 5-10 years out, or maybe sooner?).   I’m not meaning to take the glitter off the gold of this fantastic step forward in metadata assignment…it is likely more about my lack of know

I’d like to automate and schedule a file transfer from a network drive to a folder in BOX. Is there a way to do that? Do I have to write some sort of script, or does BOX have a tool to do that for you. Thank you!
