Great news! I went ahead and fixed your storage count. To verify this, log in to box.com> Account Settings> Storage Used.

Hi, 

I am having the same issue. In my account settings it literally says: 

Storage Used

0 B of 10.0 GB

I cannot upload anything to my box anymore. The file is under 150mb too so why is this happening? 

I need help as soon as possible. This is for a client.

Also says my storage is mostly full.

 

I deleted a lot of the largest files I was the owner of, but my storage consumption remains unchanged (93.2 GB of 100 GB).

Hi, I have the same problem.  I deleted nearly my entire box contents and it still says full.  Can you please help me?

yes, we apparently have unlimited storage and yet it won’t let us upload anything, even a small photograph.  Instead of working, we’re working out how to use Box and saving stuff onto drives…Box not working for us.

Same problem. Has happened 4 times to me. I deleted 10GB 9 hours ago. STILL says 99% full. Box what gives?

That article says

f you ever come across these data inaccuracies in your account, please know that the problem is entirely with the display of these totals. This has no effect on your underlying data.

 

In one sense, this is true, but in a very real sense it is not. Yes the files are really deleted, but you CAN NOT upload any more content.until it is fixed, so it is certainly having a very real, profound negative effect on your account!

 

Another quote:

Most of the time, aggregates will be updated within an hour (for example the user aggregates) or less. For larger changes or more complex folder structures, aggregates may take up to 24 hours to be correct. In rare cases, the file count and size might take few days to a week to be updated.

 

A week?!?!

I am not close to capacity and cannot upload any more documents.

I have the same problem. My storage says its full but there is nothing on my drive. Please reset it.

I am having this same issue. It is saying my storage is full, but I deleted nearly all stored contents and it’s still showing full. I can’t upload anything.

I am looking for support on this issue too.  I am getting an error message that says my storage is full - 100gb of 100gb used - but when I look on my computer at the same folders and files in Box it shows just under 19gb?

Same issue over here as well. I’ve cleared out files because it says my storage was full.  Can’t add more files until this is resolved.

Same issue. Unable to save files to box despite storage tracker saying 1.9GB of 10GB used. Pls help.


Hello, I am having the same issue. We have unlimited storage on our account. However, I keep getting a message saying that we have reached our storage limit. Can you fix this for us, please?

This is an ongoing thing at box, I suspect to try and make you buy storage.. its been going on for years. I don't believe for one minute the problem cant be solved permanently. its 2025.
