I am receiving a failed installation of the Box Drive on my new MacBook Pro. I see in the community, that many people are getting the same error. Is there a solution?
Hi, I see that I am not alone in this request and that certain users has been suggesting/asking about this feature for years now. My company uses a Canon ImageRunner Advance DX C359if. Normally, we scan and email files from a Google account that we setup specifically for the scanner/printer (Copy@companyname.com) and send it from there to our individual work email accounts, and as it is not physically hooked up to any computer, the scan to desktop solution is not an option. This method is not only overly circuitous but less secure than I would like. The ImageRunner has an option for scan to folder but it is directed at a specific IP address. Is there STILL no way to get these files from the scanner/printer directly on to Box??
Hello, a couple of users in our organization have recently had issues with some excel files that are stored on Box opening much slower than usual. These files are moderately large, around 7MB, but what used to take around 10 seconds to open now take 1-2 minutes. When the same files are downloaded and opened locally, they open as usual.
Hello All, We're coming across an issue where when we scan from a printer and save as a PDF on a folder within a Box Drive folder that was just created, called "Scans", the file is being saved as 0 KB and cannot be opened (see image below). If we save it to the Desktop (highlighted in blue below), it will have the correct file size and can be copied over to the Box Drive's Scans folder that was created. This happens consistently when saving directly to the "Scans" folder within Box Drive. We even tried saving it as an image instead of a PDF and it produced the same result. We also tried setting the "Scans" folder to "Make Available Offline" but this did not work either. As a note: The computer is running Windows 10 x64 and the user has full access and can write to the "Scans" folder since they were the ones who created it in the first place. We have tried both the "HP Smart" application as well as the Windows "Scan" application, and all applications including Box Drive are up-to-date.
I receive several box emails per my individual notification settings and the Enterprise notification settings, yet I just updated a particular folder setting to receive emails anytime an item is uploaded and this is not working. We tested it within the office, but I'm not getting the notifications. All help is appreciated!
Can you please fix the used space. It shows 8GB used while in reality it is 6GB.
Hello. I need to set up a new authenticator app because I got a new phone. when I click on the get a new QR code it just hangs. I also cannot seem to generate new backup codes (it says there was an error) and I also cannot seem to use any other kind of 2-factor authentication method (like sending a text) it says the phone number is invalid even though I put in the same number associated with the account and it says the email is invalid, even though I'm not even doing anything there and presumably it's just sending an email to the address already associated with the account. Please help. Thanks.

We use WS_FTP to schedule nightly FTP transfers to and from Box.com. Lately these transfers have failed, and I suspect (as well as hope) that the culprit is a Non-Trusted Certificate (see screenshot). I need to remedy this quickly because copying these files manually is setting me behind at work. I'm reluctant to "trust this certificate" as I'm filling in for my CIO who is out on extended leave and I'm not sure what potential liabilities I might expose my employer to.Is this something Box support can help me with, or do I need to contact DigiCert Inc? When I try accessing a link it states “ The sender has set an invalid configuration for this link. Ask the owner of this link to review the permission settings, or get in touch with Box Support” ? And I need this link accessed by tomorrow.
There is a file that seems to have been deleted from my box account into the trash folder and then deleted from the trash folder. How do I recover files that were deleted from the trash folder?

We have a business account and are getting error messages when trying to add two users who have free accounts. This is an urgent issue we are facing in order to collaborate with a client.
My Box Drive icon is grayed out. I am not able to quit the application. The application does not show in the list when I force quit. I am trying to uninstall and reinstall Box Drive and I am getting this error. "Error: Box Drive is running" Please quit Box Drive first before resetting or uninstalling. We have tried all the troubleshooting articles on the Box support community and internet searches. Still not working. Help!
We need a way to click on a directory of files that have files and links and download all the files needed including the linked file .. Is there a process for this or different way to get a common file that is shared across multiple folders
