Does anyone get actual solutions with Box.com with this problem? DROPBOX.COM seems to be a much better platform and support.

A couple weeks ago, I was accessing my box.com account with my normal login email address and normal password that I’ve used for 10 years while I was traveling in Pennsylvania. Instead of accessing the account, I got a notice of a six digit passcode number sent to my email address. I’ve been unable to access that email address for over three years. Therefore I cannot retrieve the six digit code and I’m locked out of my account. Box.com has my information but I cannot access it. I need access to my files!!!

My box.com login email address is <removed personal information>. I can also provide my password to the help team. I want to open my account and then I can change my box.com account email to one that is still available to me.

Box.com “help” named Manny insisted that they cannot help other than sending a new password to the account that I can’t access. That totally ignored my actual problems and it proposed an unworkable solution. No one from Box.com is providing effective assistance. I used this Box.com account (login email is <removed personal information> and I have the CORRECT PASSWORD) for years and while traveling all over the US and internationally. Box.com never previously took away my access by adding a six-digit “authentication” code until early October.

Please see below.

1. I know my email address for the Box account.

2. I know that correct password for the Box account.

3. I did not request and I cannot use a “manual password reset”, because I do not have access to the GMAIL account my Box account uses.

4. I repeat that I can login into my Box account if Box.com REMOVES the six digit code it now sends to my inaccessible gmail account.

5. Box.com arbitrarily placed the code without any reason, taking away my account access. I did not change anything with my account.

6. I travel. Since the start of October, I have tried to access my Box account from Orlando, Florida, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and now Pensacola, Florida. Box.com took away my account access in early October.

7. Box.com can contact me and I can provide PROOF that this Box.com account is mine by describing MY folders and content.

8. I tried for months to access my “<removed personal information>” email account and nothing will allow me to get that email back. I can’t get anything that Box sends to it.

9. I had a similar issue with Dropbox.com and THEY FIXED IT!!!

10. Please tell me that Box.com can remove the six-digit code when I use my correct login email and correct password. That is the solution I need.

Please let me have my Box.com information back.

Thank you,

Ted
