Set box folder permissions to read only with nested folders even if permission is broken at subfolder level

To achieve your goal here, you will need to change the permissions of Users on the folder so that they will not be able to make changes to the folder and its contents. You can change their permission in the Folder to a Viewer or Previewer. To learn more about these permissions, please take a look at this article. 

If you have admin access, you can either access your Admin Console > Users & Groups and select account of the "Owner" of the folder and use the instant login feature to log in as the user (who owns the folder) and and navigate to folder where you need to change users' permissions. You can also do this using the Content Manager if you have access to this feature. Here's how:

1. Go to Content Manager in your Admin Console
2. Navigate to the account of the user who owns the Folder 
3. Locate and click the folder and you should see the list of "Collaborators" on the right side of the page
4. Click the dropdown of their current permission and choose a new permission for each user.
5. That's it!

Thanks for the help but these solution will not be feasible in my case.

In my case, content is very high(1 TB) and the number of users and number of subfolders level is also at very high level, also the permissions are broken at different subfolder levels so it will not be possible to navigate to each folders/subfolders and check permission if permissions is broken or not, then remove the permissions at each level. As number of users are also high so it will not be possible to check the content for each users and the remove the permissions.

Is there any other way by which we can find where are the permission broken means permissions is different from the root folders or reset the permission of all the subfolders so that subfolders inherit the permission form root folder.

I'm looking for similar solution as well. Also, is it possible without updating the subfolders and still force the same security from top folder. In case, we will need to rollback so the security still intact and will not break.
