Downloading as a PDF when file is in Excel

Hi

I am a Viewer and someone is sharing an Excel file with me. When I click to download it, it just downloads as a PDF. Do I need them to change my permissions or is the issue on my side? They are saying I need my IT to sort it out.

    When you're trying to download files that turn into PDF, it is likely that Watermarking is enabled on the folder where the files you're trying to download are stored.

    Until this Watermarking feature is disabled by the folder owner, the Excel files will remain PDF when downloaded.
