I'm new to Box and we use Google Docs at my company. We've invested a great deal of energy in creating a Google Template Library with commonly used documents and spreadsheets. I see the I can click New in Box and create a Google Doc, but don't see the option to create one from a Google Doc Template. Is there a solution here?

Currently, there is not a way for a user to create the google doc from a google doc template when creating the file in Box.
Our team is currently working on an update on the integration with GSuite that enable users to copy their existing Google files within their Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) environment to live in Box. This announcement can be found here and should be updated in the next coming weeks:
Hi, this still doesn't solve the issue, when do you think we'll be able to create a new Google Doc from within Box and select a particular template? Is it in the product roadmap?

There is an existing feature request in Box Pulse shared to our Product team to Add ability to create Google Doc and Google Sheet templates in Box.
