Everytime I save an Illustrator file within box via file explorer on a dell laptop it saves a TMP file which appears in the same folder as the original Illustrator file I am working. If I close the file and want to reopen it where I left of I have to open the TMP file rather than the original Illustrator file. Its messing up my filing system and a waste of time!
Any help would be much appreciated.
I have tried
- reinstalling box
- reinstalling Illustrator
- resetting illustrator preferences

Do you encounter any sort of error message when saving the Illustrator files in Box? If yes, can you share a screenshot here?
Also, do you mind providing a screenshot of how these files appear on your File explorer?
Lastly, may I know what version of Box Drive are you running and what OS are you on?
