I am using the rest api to search data. When I specify the ancestor_folder_ids parameter of a parent folder, files are omitted in the results from a sub folder. If I perform the search request with the same parameters and change the ancestor_folder_ids to the sub folder with the missing files, all the files are returned.
Since the files are all returned in the second query this doesn't appear to be a permissions issue, and the query has the same mdfilters and the initial query so all the attributes are there.
This appears to be a bug in the search API
