1.  How do I add my box folder to my Libraries list?

2.  How do I assign a Windows drive letter to the box folder?

So far, I'm not impressed with box's Windows integration, at least compared to the competition.  I've tried to include it in a library but get an error that it's a removable drive.  How come GDrive and Dropbox (and even the hated MS OneDrive) can do this and box cannot?

Hi Geoffrey,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

It appears this is expected behavior due to the way the Box Drive folder is mounted. Windows is detecting the Box Drive folder as a removable storage location.  A good way to validate is to try the same action of attempting to add the folder on a usb drive to the library .

Unfortunately, there is no way around this. If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

Thanks for reaching out and please let us know how else we can help!

Regards,

France,

Seems like you spend a lot of time telling questioners what Box cannot do, rather than what it can do.  I'm terminating my account; box lacks functionality that I need.

Thanks.
