It does not appear to be possible to extract a Zip file directly within Box on the web. Currently, the only way to do this is to download zip files locally, unzip, and then upload the unzipped file within Box. This is inefficient and time-consuming. Is there a way to extract a Zip file directly within Box on the web? If not, one should be developed.

The option to unzip/ extract zip files in Box is currently not supported in Box. I appreciate your feedback and would highly recommend that you send this directly to our Product Team through Box Pulse for possible consideration and implementation in the future.
