You installed an older version of Box Drive on top of a newer version.

Hi, I've seen previous posts with the same errer message when trying to reinstall Box Drive on MacBook Air The version I'm trying to install is the latest version. I followed posted guidelines on how to delete all traces of Box Drive then reinstalling but I still get the same error message. I tried chat with Box support but they haven't been able to help me resolve the problem. Please can someone advise how they were able to solve the problem? Many thanks

Hi Sinéad, I was able to solve the problem after getting their feedback. The link available that I downloaded yesterday was not the latest version. Please see below what worked:

I would suggest for you to uninstall again your Box Drive app by following again the uninstall steps provided to you.
Afterwards please re-install Box Drive latest version from this link:
https://e3.boxcdn.net/desktop/releases/mac/BoxDrive.2.27.221.pkg

Box...  Please update your published download links as we ran into the same issue above. 

Additionally, is there a link were we can verify what the VERY latest version is at any given time?

same problem.  the link in the message from David above also did not work.  same error message appears.  Box, please fix this.....
