Hello,

My account says I have this below, but if I try to upload anything, I get the mesage "Storage limit exceeded". I've seen many posts about this and to contact support, but the only way to contact support that I can find is via this forum.

Storage Used: 989.5 MB of 10.0 GB

Thank you,

Cameron

Hi.  This could be for one of two main reasons:

  1. You are on a free Lite acct and have a 10Gb limit, or
  2. Your Box admin has not changed the default amount of storage allocated to each user when your company started with Box.
This is 10Gb by default, so if you are part of a Business plan or above, please contact your admin and ask them to increase your allocation.
Admin Console > Users & Groups > your User > Storage Quota (GB):

Good luck!

Thanks James. This is a personal account, and says my limit is 10GB and says this:

Storage Used: 989.5 MB of 10.0 GB

That is copied and pasted from my account so something isn't working right in Box.

Doh!  My mistake in not reading the first of your two numbers correctly :-(.  We often see people mention the 10Gb limit with a business acct, and I leapt in that direction...

I'm sorry, but I do not know what the issue could be, so it will be best if you can log a ticket with Support so they can investigate in our back end.

One last Q, I assume that you are not trying to upload a file that is larger than your tariff limit?
