I upgraded backed up my ssd and installed a larger ssd.  Everything worked except for Box.  My box drive shows "error: invalid_client" when connecting.  I have done the following:


Unistalled Box drive, deleted registry keys related to box, restarted and reinstalled box drive.  Same error.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

This error typically occurs when there is a Google association linked to your Box account login.


Process for Resolution:


The following steps should reset the association and resolve the issue:


  1. Sign into your account at Box.com.

  2. Select your profile (denoted by your initials or profile picture) in the upper right and select Account Settings.

  3. Select the Integrations tab.

  4. Find the Google association and click the 'Reset Association' option.


  5. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.

  6. Attempt to login to Box Drive once more.
