Why can't I open files with other apps on Box on Android?

Question

All I can do with my files right now is to preview them. When I attempt to edit, I've tried with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, it will load, then crashes.

I'm sure the problem is not with these apps because I've tried opening and editing files on them and they work.

It is simply with Box files that there is an issue. I've also tried opening my files directly from the app, but I get the same results.

It looks like Box is crashing these apps.
