When will Box release updated Box App to work in Big Sur?

Can someone please provide a time estimate for when an updated Box App that works with Big Sur on the M1 chip will be released?

Until then, is there a work-around that would work (again, with the M1 chip)?

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    Box Tools is now supported on the new M1 Processor. See the announcement here: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500000564381-M1-support-for-Box-Tools

    However, we do not have an ETA on when will Box Drive be compatible with Apple's new devices using M1 chips. The Beta is planned in early this year and you may contact your account team for information regarding the Beta. 

    Meanwhile, customers on these devices are encouraged to leverage our web-based application (https://app.box.com).
