When creating new folders, default folder (and all subfolders/files) to "Public" access for shared links

I can't find anything in the settings or in the help search here, but is there any way to set the default for shared links to being public for all subfolders/files within a particular folder? If I change the parent folder shared link to public, it only seems to work on the folder itself and not everything within it.

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

    Looks like this is a limitation implemented within your Enterprise account. To setup a public shared link as your default settings , please contact your main Admin.
