Ultimately I'm just trying to figure out the paths available to me for provisioning a Custom Web App using Client Credentials Grant in an existing Enterprise account. I understand I need "Admin" approval for that Custom App to do anything but it's unclear to me what my options are for getting it.


1. Can existing Enterprise accounts issue "Developer" accounts.


1a. What's really gained by having a "real" Developer account vs. the free one. Seems like for my use case all it gets me is the ability to hit "request authorization" on my app's configuration page?


2. Can existing Enterprise accounts provision new/existing users with 'Admin' permissions that could then approve of a Web App. If so where are the directions for doing this.

1. Existing Enterprise accounts can issue "Developer" accounts. The main advantage of a "real" Developer account is that it provides more flexibility and control over the app's configuration and permissions. With a free account, you may have limited options and features. 1a. Having a "real" Developer account allows you to request authorization for your app and configure it according to your needs. Follow up questions.


1. What's the permission needed on a User to be able to approve of a Custom Web app. I've found this article describing how to modify and grant permissions but want to make sure I'm requesting the correct permission. Not sure what you mean by "vary depending on platform or service you're using". We're just trying to grant authorization to a Web App that can issue client credentials grants to an external app that needs to upload/download files to a specific Box directory.


2. Is it possible to grant that permission to an External user outside of the Enterprise? Or should we just have a new Managed User created.


3. Can you point me towards the documentation for issuing a new Developer account from an Enterprise. Ideally steps to do this from Box UI online not through API requests.
