What is the best non-API way to determine the date on which a Managed User was create? I do not see a way to add a 'created date' to the User Details report.

I understand that you need to pull a report of your all your managed users' account creation details, I'm happy to help.
You may Run a User Activity Report to pull up this information. Here's how you can run/export this report:
1. Go to the Admin Console > Reports
2. To the right of User Activity Report, click Create
3. Leave the Users and Groups field blank
4. Filter the dates (reports can be generated on-demand for any specified time period and these reports can go back as far as 7 years, or as long as you have an account tariff with reporting access.)
5. In the list of Action Types, select "Users" and tick the checkbox next to the item: "Created New User", and "Accepted Enterprise Invite".
6. Scroll up and click "Run"
7. Wait for the exported file to appear in your Box Reports folder
