Uploading Word docs with tracked changes

When I upload a WORD  document with tracked changes, I do not want to see all the formatting markup, I just want to see what content was changed in the document.  However, when I upload the document, the formatting markup shows out to the right of the content.   It makes the document hard to read.   I have tried everything I know to do.  The “Formatting” checkbox under “Show Markup” menu is not checked.

Anyone have any suggestions

Hello,

To hide formatting markup and see only content changes in a Word document with tracked changes, go to the Review tab. In the "Display for Review" dropdown, select "No Markup" for the cleanest view (hides all markup but doesn't accept changes). Alternatively, choose "Simple Markup" to see a red line where changes occurred without detailed formatting balloons. Also, under "Show Markup," ensure "Formatting" is unchecked and consider selecting "Show Revisions Inline" under "Balloons."

Best regards,
