Uploading New Versions of files is not working

Several team members are trying to upload new versions of files but are not getting the option when we click the 3 dots. Different files, different people, different days.

This first started happening last Friday, and is continuing today - I’ve been working with Box for almost 8 years and never had this issue. Nothing has changed - I am using the same computer and same login.

When I open a part (download page), and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner, and select “upload new Version”, nothing happens. A dialog window should open so you can upload a new file, but currently nothing happens. I have tried “uploading a new version” in several different ways and nothing works.

I have restarted my PC and the browser sever times. I have tried different files in different folders and nothing works. I cannot seem up upload new versions of files anywhere.  I am using this for work, and now I cannot complete my work.

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!

I understand that you have restarted your PC, use different browser and have tried different files in a different folders and cannot seem to upload new verson of files anywhere.

To properly address this, I created a new ticket and our Box Product Support will be in touch. Please keep an eye out.
