Upload request and API request limits

Greetings,

I need to upload around 55.000 images to a dropbox that posses an API call limit of 50.000. And would like to kow if the upload request counts to my API request limit. Thanks for your time. 

 

I'm using curl to make the requests to upload the images

    The two Box rate limits you will want to keep in mind are: 

     

    10 API calls per second per user and 4 uploads per second per user
