Hello,

I'm developing a web application for a variety of information.  One element is a video-upload option.  Privileged users can create pages and upload videos via an HTML file-upload field in a web form.  I'm hoping to use Box to tie into this application.

Here's a summary of what I need to do:

1. Logged-in users can upload a video file on their page to a designated Box folder

2. When users open a created page, the app allows access to uploaded video file in Box

3. Upload should be handled via PHP or Javascript (preferably PHP)

4. If possible, use a standard _POST action to send files to Box (but other methods are fine)

I've read the Box documentation, but can't find anything that explains what I am trying to do.

Is this possible?  If so, can someone point me to a working example?

Thanks,

Matthew

Hello,

Is anyone from the Box tech support here to answer?

I'm hoping to use Box for my application, but I need answers to my questions above.  I'm trying to test before my 14-day trial period is up.

Thanks,

Matthew

Hi :

If you want a reply from Box Tech Support, click the "Submit a Case" link at the right side of the main Help Forum page here (https://community.box.com/t5/Help-Forum/bd-p/HelpForum).

Hope that helps,

Ian

Hi iancrew,

Yes, I submitted a case already, but have received no response.  That's why I tried here.

Hopefull, someone at Box can offer a solution!

On that page, I believe there's also a phone number listed.  Maybe try calling them instead, with the case number from the issue you previously submitted handy?

Good luck!

Ian

Hi iancrew,

I was hoping a written case was better, since I could isolate the technical details.  But yes, time to call!

Thank you for jumping in to help!
