I integrate Box to Microsoft Office to enable the new collaboration feature.

However, something isn't right about Excel. When I try to open one with Macro setup, it does not work anymore, and shows error "SECURITY RISK: Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted."

If I remove the connection to Box service in Excel (File > Account > Connected Services), then the macro could be running again, which is a temporary solution. But there are other problems with different users in the same file and getting duplicated files when saving it etc.

I use Box Drive on my desktop and open files from there. I tried to trust the location, even if I have "Redirect Box Drive" to remove my user name in the folder path, Macros in Excel don't work either.

Anyone could help?

I am having the same issue!! Did you find a solution for this?

29636273849619 Unfortunately no, I haven't heard any solution from anyone yet. However, my Excel with macro seems to be okay to run now in Box. I haven't done anything, so I suspect either my company IT updated some settings in the background, or BOX and/or MS updated features with better integration possible... Sorry couldn't help more.

Hi, I have the same issue here. Any update on this problem ?

Hi, I am having the same issue after upgrade to window 11. Already setting trust location for Box Drive but seems cannot solve the issue.

I am having this exact issue. 423209978574, have you found a solution?

423209978574 and anyone else having this issue. I was able to correct by adding " https://api.box.com" to my trusted sites in the internet options settings.
