Unable to update/change current email address on my personal account

Hi,

I would like to change the existing email address on my account to a personal email address.  As I already had an account with this personal email I have deleted it.  However, when I try to add this personal email to my other account the system states I already have an account with this address. Can someone help?

To replace your main email address in Box, regardless of your account subscription, please make sure that the email address you are replacing it with is not yet saved in Box.
